In Italy, as in Europe, there has been a growing interest in the OHDSI program and the OMOP Common Data Model in recent years.<\/p>\n
Starting from June 2022, under the guidance of Professor Lucia Sacchi from the University of Pavia, the Italian Node of OHDSI was established.
\nSo far, the node has involved over fifty individuals from more than thirty organizations.
\nDuring the initial eighteen months, the group focused on defining a DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) model and organizing the first two federated studies.
\nThe DPIA model developed serves as a crucial starting point for Italian Data Partners seeking to harmonize their data with the OMOP CDM.
\nThe first study aims to provide an overview of OMOP-formatted data across the national territory.
\nThe second study will focus on developing a predictive model for sepsis during hospitalization.<\/p>\n
